American Diner Photography

American diners are built to be seen and used, but rarely noticed. The light stays on long after the people leave.

This work looks at the quieter moments inside these spaces, empty booths, polished floors, reflections, and the soft glow of neon and tungsten light. Photographed in Los Angeles and across the American West, the images focus less on the act of dining and more on what remains once the room settles.

Part of an ongoing body of cinematic Americana photography, these interiors sit alongside roadside scenes, motels and small-town architecture, forming a wider portrait of place, memory and presence.
