Chania: Through Venetian Streets
In the old town, the past lingers in stone and shadow. Narrow streets wind between walls built centuries ago, their plaster worn thin by salt and sun. Wooden shutters fade to grey; balconies lean toward one another as if in quiet conversation.
I walked these streets with the same curiosity I brought to the newer parts of the city, but here colour gives way to texture, the surfaces speak of time rather than paint. Each photograph became a small record of what remains, a way of tracing the lines between history and everyday life.
Chania: Through Venetian Streets is a study of presence and endurance, a walk through a city still holding the shape of its past.
