Constructed Life

Constructed Life is a photographic series made on the backlot sets of Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California. The work explores environments built to resemble everyday life, where suburban streets and domestic interiors exist as constructed spaces for film and television production.

A place built to resemble life, but never hold it.

These photographs were made on the backlot sets of Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California. Streets and interiors designed to suggest everyday living, without any history of it.

Rooms are arranged and left waiting. Light falls into spaces that have never been occupied. Details repeat across façades and interiors, forming a version of life assembled from expectation rather than experience.

What appears familiar begins to feel uncertain.

Everything is in place. Nothing belongs to it.
